Sean Dickey Young Leaders Trust

I had the privilege of receiving funding from the Sean Dickey Young Leaders Trust to attend the Spirit of Adventure trip during the recent school holidays, which ran from September 24th to October 4th 2023. This experience was a significant and valuable one for me personally. 

 

The Spirit of Adventure provided me with numerous opportunities for personal growth and valuable connections. While I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and made friends that I believe will be lifelong, I also encountered challenges that encouraged personal growth. 

 

Throughout the course of those ten days, I had the chance to partake in unique activities, such as swimming with dolphins, sharing stories around a campfire on Smokehouse Bay, and contributing to nature through a beach cleanup. These experiences added depth to the journey. 

 

I'm pleased to report that I'll be returning as a volunteer in 2024, and this opportunity wouldn't have been possible without the generous support and funding from the Sean Dickey Young Leaders Trust. I am genuinely grateful for your contribution, which has had a lasting impact on my life.
